It all started with the Bayville Blog over a decade ago. Yes, its been that long and many of you have been asking through the years to bring it back, especially with all that is going on in our local communities recently. At that time and before the popularity of Facebook, the Bayville Blog grew in popularity relatively quickly since it provided a means of communication and transparency at the local level. Local politicians (some) embraced the Blog since it plugged them in to what people were thinking and was current in what was happening in their districts. One local Senator had their staff checking the site 3 times daily to keep up to date. We all agree not all of the content was stellar but the Blog certainly changed things and aided in moving projects at the government level that had been stalled for years. I hope you like the new Bayville Compass with extended user functionality and a localized online social community.
